Pasta Bowls

Have you tried the pasta bowls from Domino’s?  We splurged and got one a couple of days ago.  He got the Italian Sausage Marinara, and I got the Chicken Alfredo.   They are delicious.  Much too large for one person though.  We both got the flat bread bowl.  We both had enough for lunch the next day also.  If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend them.

Welcome to my new followers, Celtic Gypsy and msucheermom.  I couldn’t find a site for the last one, so if you have a site, please let me know.  Thanks to you both for joining my site, and I hope you enjoy reading it.. :)

When I got home Monday evening from being at the hospital all day with my brother, I got a very good surprise.  My Hubby had cleaned the RV and run the sweeper.  He can be so sweet sometimes.  I think I will keep him.

Talked to my daughter, Shannon last night.  She thinks I need to see my Doctor again.  I am still having some of the problems I was having in Wyoming, so she is probably right.  I either have a really bad infection or the drugs he has given me just aren’t doing the trick.  Hopefully we can get it straightened out soon.

My brother had to get 2 more units of blood Monday, and the Doctor came to see him while we were there.  I think he was shocked to see how bad my brother looks.  He seems to have either given up or the disease has progressed to the point of no return.  He grows weaker by the day, and still is not eating or drinking anywhere near what he should be, every day.  I am at a complete loss.  I don’t know what to do, and am finding out that this is much harder to go through than I had thought.  He just called and asked if we could go get him some things in the morning.  Up until now, he has always wanted to do his shopping for himself.  He apologized over and over because he doesn’t have the energy to do for himself.  It really hurts to see him this way.  He was always so vibrant and up for anything.  My only consolation is the fact that he is right with God, and I know he is tired of fighting.  I don’t think he is going to leave us tomorrow, but I do feel the end is not too far off in the future.

I am telling you all of this because I think my part is going to become more and more with him and less and less time for writing and even reading all my favorite blogs.  So, if I don’t write for a while, please understand why.

I would give just about anything if this weren’t happening, but my heart and time is now for him.

Pidge,
I'm so sorry to hear you are not feeling well and to also hear about your brother. When we emailed you didn't mention he was ill and when I was going back in reading your blog I didn't see where you know exactly what is wrong with him. Regardless, I pray for peace in his heart and love in your hands as you minister to him.

Returning the hug you sent to the hubster to you and your bro....
