I lost my Dear brother on Monday. I hope all can understand that I need some time for myself. He was a very brave fighter, but in the end he was ready to go Home to God. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and his Church.

You were on my mind so much yesterday and now I know why... it had been so long since we had heard from you. I'm so very sorry to hear about your brother but praising his arrival in heaven to be with his Father God.
I have always enjoyed sharing this quote from Abraham Lincoln, a man who truly knew sorrows...

I've always felt like the feeling better comes from memories and the sharing of them.

So very sorry for your loss, we lost my baby brother at a very young age of 40...the reason we sold it all and began living this new wonderful lifestyle. Didn't want to waste another moment.
The sadness never truly goes away, there are still times after so many years now that I go to pick up the phone and call him...then I remember.
His spirit, as well as my mom's who passed away a year after my brother did, is always with us. We realized when we find a penny, it's a message from my mom and a dime means my brother has something to say to us. It's been interesting to find these coins at the precise moments we need them.
Hope you find your spiritual side of your brother soon, it helps the pain through the loss.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Pidge. It's especially hard to lose loved ones right before the holidays. May you take comfort in the fact that Boone was a Christian and that you will see him again.
